Risk Management: Why so many still fail at it.

This post describes how I really learned risk management, namely that at the end of the day what matters are the following basic questions: what is my exposure and how much can I lose?

It explains what went wrong with so many "sophisticated investors" and thus how to build a sound approach to risk management, why the word management is more important than the word risk, and how I select managers where risk management is not a just a concept or a marketing gimmick!
